CHICAGO -- The New York Yankees have acquired left-hander Josh Outman in a trade with the Cleveland Indians. Outman has spent time with the Indians and Triple-A Columbus this season. He was in the minors at the time of the deal. The Indians will receive a player to be named or cash in Thursdays trade. Outman is 4-0 with a 3.28 ERA in 31 relief appearances with Cleveland this season. He made his major league debut in 2008 with Oakland and is 16-11 with a 4.49 ERA in six seasons with the Athletics, Rockies and Indians. According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, the Blue Jays are amongst a handful of teams interested in the 33-year-old veterans services. This season, Rios is hitting .302 with four home runs, 41 runs and 42 RBI in 96 games with the Rangers. Rios made his MLB debut with the Blue Jays in 22004 and finished his rookie season hitting .dddddddddddd286 with one home run, 55 runs and 28 RBI in 111 games. He played with the Jays through the 2009 season before the team put him on waivers. The Chicago White Sox claimed him off waivers and Rios spent just over four seasons in the Windy City.
